The Social Statistics Study Group (GESS) at INRS is pleased to announce the launch of the Student Writing Support Scholarship Program.
This program aims to provide financial support to PhD students in the writing stage of their dissertation, whose research relies primarily on quantitative methods.
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must:
- have successfully passed their doctoral comprehensive exam,
- be actively writing their dissertation,
- not hold another major scholarship (e.g., FRQ, SSHRC).
Scholarship Offered
- One scholarship, valued at $5,000 CAD, will be awarded in 2026 to a student from the UCS Centre.
Application Process
Interested students are invited to review the program documentation and complete the application form. The deadline to submit an application is February 20, 2026.
